OUR MISSION

A community built by volunteers, for the people who need us most

Founded in Toronto in 2001 by ten dedicated volunteers, MFA began with a simple goal — to give Mannar families in Canada a community of their own, and to support those still living in Mannar.

Today, we are a fully volunteer-run, registered non-profit. We receive no government funding and no corporate sponsorships. Every project is funded entirely by people like you.

“MFA gave our family a community when we had none. That’s a debt you can’t repay — only pass forward.”
