OUR MISSION
A community built by volunteers, for the people who need us most
Founded in Toronto in 2001 by ten dedicated volunteers, MFA began with a simple goal — to give Mannar families in Canada a community of their own, and to support those still living in Mannar.
Today, we are a fully volunteer-run, registered non-profit. We receive no government funding and no corporate sponsorships. Every project is funded entirely by people like you.

“The scholarship program let me finish my degree when my family simply couldn’t afford it. I owe MFA everything — and one day, I’ll give back the way they gave to me.”
